Deer Removal
Kingwood DPW will remove deer carcasses from Township roads.
Please be prepared to provide the following information.
- Your name and phone number (optional).
- Location, address or road name, mile marker, distinctive landmarks, etc. Please be specific as possible when providing location.
Deer carcasses found on County roads may be reported to Hunterdon County Department of Public Works, Division of Roads, Bridges and Engineering:

2025 Dog Licenses
License Renewal Forms will be sent in March- If you do not receive yours by April 5, please email doglicensingagent@kingwoodtownship.com. When you mail back your renewal form, please note any changes on the form and make sure to include a self-addressed stamped envelope along with the form and payment.

There will be additional hours on Saturday April 12, April 19 & May 12 from 10 am - 12 pm.
There will be no office hours on Thursday, May 8.
Dog Licensing Complaints
For those who received a Dog License Complaint, you must satisfy the licensing requirements with the dog licensing agent, Stefanie Hickman, before dealing with the summons.
The summons is $50 per dog at court. You can waive your court appearance by completing a 'plea by mail form' which can be obtained by the Municipal Court Administrator. Please email or call the court office for this form or appear at your scheduled court date to address the summons.
