Electronics Recyling Discontinued
Kingwood Electronics Collection Discontinued as of December 28, 2015
Kingwood’s recycling program will no longer accept any type of electronics for recycling as of today. Do not bring these items to the recycling depot. The program has been stopped.
What was a free service by the electronics recycling company for many years will now come with a cost to the township. The monthly price to keep the container is very high plus an additional charge per pound for the items in the container has been added as a fee. The township was unaware that this was going to happen. We are very sorry to have to discontinue electronics recycling, as it was a great program not only for our residents but for the environment as well.
We are hopeful that the Hunterdon County will continue the yearly program of recycling electronics. Check their website for updates on the program in the future.
